The Hudhayl tribe’s origins go back to the dawn of Islam. They lived primarily in the Northern mountainous region around Makkah, where they grew fruit trees and many varieties of grains. Members of the tribe were known for their bravery and marksmanship. They lived simple lives, but this simplicity is masked by the care taken to embellish their dresses with decorative features and zigzag patterns.
